Established in 2018, Reflection Metal Polishing is a family-owned business dedicated to providing premium metal polishing and finishing services. Founded by Francis and Ellen, the business initially operated as a mobile service along the east coast, including Tasmania, and has since built a strong reputation for craftsmanship, industry expertise, and a steadfast commitment to excellence.

 

In 2022, Reflection Metal Polishing began working with Ritchie Bros., facilitating an expansion of services to include paint polishing, interior detailing, truck washing, and equipment polishing, which in turn required the growth of the team. Early 2023, Reflection Metal Polishing began leasing a facility at the Ritchie Bros. site and focused on local recruitment. Francis and Ellen personally trained new team members, particularly Filipino student visa holders, fostering a supportive environment that adhered to all regulations while equipping them with valuable skills and confidence. Despite encountering challenges from November 2023 to beginning of January 2024, when trained employees departed unexpectedly, Reflection Metal Polishing remains committed to its mission of delivering high-quality workmanship and maintaining strong client relationships. The business has continued to move forward, shifting its focus to hiring locally.
